Experience the stunning beauty of Tanzania’s hidden gems on this 3-day adventure to Lake Natron and Lake Eyasi. Day 1 – Transfer to Lake Natron
After breakfast, your Ayad Safari Connect guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you towards Lake Natron. The journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley and past traditional Maasai villages, offering incredible views and photo opportunities.
Upon arrival at Lake Natron, enjoy lunch and relax before heading out for an afternoon guided walk along the southern shores of the lake. You’ll explore the fascinating ecosystem of Lake Natron, a major breeding site for thousands of flamingos. Visit the Ngare Sero Waterfalls and take in the beautiful scenery with chances to spot giraffes and other wildlife.
Dinner and overnight stay at Masai Giraffe Eco Lodge or similar accommodation.

Day 2 – Maasai Cultural Experience and Transfer to Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, visit a local Maasai village for a traditional cultural experience. Learn about the Maasai way of life, take part in daily activities such as milking cattle, and enjoy storytelling from the elders. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase handmade jewelry crafted by Maasai women.
After lunch, take part in a moringa tree-planting activity — a symbolic gesture to support environmental conservation. In the afternoon, depart for Lake Eyasi, arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3 – Hadzabe and Datoga Cultural Experience
Start your morning early with an exciting cultural encounter with the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in Africa. Join them on a morning hunt, learn how they use bows and arrows, and experience their natural way of living.
Later, visit the Datoga tribe — skilled blacksmiths who create beautiful ornaments and tools using traditional methods. Watch demonstrations and engage with the artisans to understand their ancient craftsmanship.
After a picnic lunch, begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon where your tour with Ayad Safari Connect concludes.
